I have made every effort to provide you with a healthy puppy. I guarantee this puppy is purebred and is registerable with the AKC. WE guarantee that all vaccinations and wormings have been given as stated on the vaccination schedule.
For the protection of the purchaser and the seller, the puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of taking possession of this puppy. If the sales transaction takes place on a Friday and Monday is a holiday, the buyer will be given a extra 24 hours to have the puppy examined. If this puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary congenital defect or any major health problem at this exam , a replacement puppy of equal or lesser value will be given, provided that the seller is notified within 24 hours of the exam. If the buyer does not take the puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours from the date of purchase, this warranty becomes null and void. This puppy must be returned to the breeder along with the AKC papers (if provided to purchaser) within 24 hours, at no expense to the breeder, with a signed document from two non associated licensed veterinarians stating the defect or problem. We, the breeder, are not responsible for any vet bills acquired by you the buyer.
Some disorders may be caused by environmental factors, for example: cocidia, giardia, kennel cough, cancer, mange, scabies, allergies and other autoimmune system disorders and these are not covered in this guarantee. This guarantee does not include injuries, fleas, mites, kennel cough or any other intestinal worms/parasites, as they are common in dogs and puppies. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, class 1 or 2 murmur, inguinal or umbilical hernias. I, the breeder will not be responsible for illness or health problems, which are a diagnosis after this time period, except where stated in this contract.
Your puppy is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of birth against life threatening congenital defects . If within that time a life threatening congenital defect (not to include parvo virus, distemper virus, heartworms or any nutritional related disease ) is attested to by two non-associated veterinarians and the reason is congenital, the breeder will replace the puppy with another puppy of the same breed, quality and price, if our veterinarian agrees with the required written reports, from the two non associated licensed veterinarians. The breeder must be notified at the onset of the problem, in writing, with a report from both veterinarians. The replacement will be subject to availability (within 12 months). I do not refund money. We, the breeder, are not responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by you, the buyer. We will not be responsible for illness or any health problems , which are diagnosed after these time periods.
In the unlikely event of this puppy's death in the first year, due to congenital defect, a statement from a veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the breeder.. If cause is unknown, an autopsy is required. The breeder will not be responsible for veterinary or medical bills incurred. In addition this puppy is guaranteed, until 12 months of age against Hip Dysplasia. You must also submit copies of radio-graphs (x-rays) taken by two veterinarians which are specific and conclusive proof of hip dysplasia. You must show us proof that your dog has been spay/neuter with verification from a vet before a replacement puppy will be given. Also a statement from two veterinarians that this puppy is not and never has been overweight for his/her bone structure, and has never had past injuries that may have caused dysplasia, and no evidence that this puppy was overstressed and or over exercised (or in the case of females) no breeding has taken place, during this important growth phase. You must also be able to provide receipts of a quality Large Breed Puppy food for their hips and joints. The buyer will maintain ownership of the afflicted dog/puppy and a new puppy will then be offered as a replacement of equal value (breeder's choice) when the next litter of comparative value is available and you must then show verification that the dog with severe hip dysplasia has been spayed/neutered. This is limited to a one-time replacement and no further guarantees are made. It is agreed and understood that no money refund will be given to you for any medical expense acquired in these findings, nor for the purchase of dog, or travel costs. It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to sold dog, except as set forth in writing in this agreement. This guarantee is valid only for original owner and is non-transferable. I (we), the purchaser(s), have read, understand and agree to the contents of this contract. No guarantee is made at time of sale regarding show, hunting, or breeding prospects of sold dog. Your puppy has been on a vaccination and de-worming schedule here and is up to date and these records will be provided to you. Please take these records to your veterinarian, as it is very important to continue with these vaccinations and wormings after you get your puppy home. You the buyer, agree to insure your puppy's good health and to keep our guarantee in effect by taking good care of your puppy and providing good food, housing, and good medical care. As a responsible puppy owner/ buyer you must provide your puppy with routine preventative care and all immunizations, administer monthly heart worm preventatives and annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian. Please remember that puppies are babies and they need lots of love and care! This contract is valid for the original buyer that purchased the dog from " Mark L. Vaughan" Breeder. This contract is null and void if any of the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. The Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this contract except as stated above.
